Finding your ideal Personal care assistant – The Process
Hiring a Personal Care Assistant can be empowering for many disabled and older people with personal budgets, but it also poses a series of challenges for both parties.
Contact us via enquiry form, telephone or email to make an enquiry and complete form 1 – ‘Your Ideal Personal Care Assistant’
Brief meeting with the manager (approx. 30- 60 mins) to go through your enquiry and discuss how we can help you. At this point we will bring:
- Details of a selection of available PCAs from our database that meet your criteria for you to consider.
- Sample of terms and conditions and contracts.
- Pre Assessment form about the person requiring care and support.
- An outline of the company details, who we are and what you can expect.
Please think of any questions to ask us when we arrive. It is also a good idea to have someone else there when we meet so that they can support you, take down information that you may need and be there to reflect with you afterwards.
Take time to consider if you would like to use our services. There is no rush to make decisions and we would be more than happy to discuss any further queries and questions on the phone or in person. Should you decide that you would like to use our services then contact us to let us know the happy news.
Meet with the manager and your potential new Personal Care Assistants and interview them (Don’t worry, we can support you with this!)
Notify us of your decision
You are happy and have chosen your team of Personal Care Assistants. Congratulations!
Decide on the finer details of how, when and where you would like your support. Sign necessary documents, agree on expectations for both parties and receive support pack from us containing advice leaflets, information, policies and procedures.
You are not sure and would like to meet other potential candidates.
Review the interview and repeat steps 4 and 5 until you are satisfied and happy with your team of personal care assistants.
